FINANCIAL AID

5% of the ASFG student body receives financial aid. Guidelines for these scholarships in grades 1 - 9 are set by the "Secretaria de Educacion" and the application process normally begins at the end of April.

Scholarships from grades 10 - 12 are awarded in accordance with guidelines set by the "Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México".

This application process also begins by the end of the month of April. In each case, the family's socioeconomic situation is taken into account, as well as academic achievement, behavior, etc. Each case is evaluated individually by a committee formed for this purpose.

At present, there is no scholarship aid for incoming students. After a student has been admitted, based upon merit, and successfully completed his/her first year at ASFG, he/she may apply for the above mentioned SEP/UNAM scholarships.
